Morton Salt Grantsville, Utah A solar salt evaporation food-grade plant As a Package Operator/Warehouse Person for the Mill Department (Packaging and Shipping of Salt Products) your responsibilities will include:
Support and take responsibility to perform all job duties in a safe manner, following all safe work practices and safety policies, follow all quality processes, and ensure all environmental policies are adhered to daily.
Tasks such as cleaning, sweeping, sanitizing, cleaning bins, unloading package material, supplying fill stations with packing materials, labels, or boxes, making trash bales, etc.
Filling paper bags with salt, guiding them through a sewing head to seal them, and palletizing the finished products Driving a forklift to move product in the facility Assisting workers of higher classification in performing their tasks.
This is a 24/7 Union Environment, Days/Hours/Shift worked is determined by seniority.
